M/Y CROCUS 42m Custom Motor Yacht Built by Altınova Shipyard · Refit 2024

M/Y CROCUS is a 42.10-metre custom motor yacht with a story unlike any other in the contemporary Turkish-built fleet. Her journey began at the Vulkan Shipyard in Valencia, Spain in 2007 — laid down speculatively as project VK-1 with naval architecture and exterior design by Vulkan themselves. After a decade of standstill, the project was acquired in 2019 and transferred to Altınova Tersaneleri Imalat in Yalova, Türkiye, where outfitting and commissioning were completed to the highest standards. She was delivered to her current owner in August 2021 and underwent a comprehensive refit in 2024.

Interior design comes from the acclaimed Italian studio Hot Lab, whose signature blend of warm craftsmanship and contemporary detailing defines every space onboard. Constructed in aluminium hull and superstructure with teak decks, CROCUS combines refined Mediterranean aesthetics with serious long-range cruising capability — a 4,000-nautical-mile range, at-anchor stabilisation, and a shallow 1.98-metre draft that opens up anchorages most yachts her size cannot reach.
